Hoad & More designed the Laylight as a bespoke installation for a high-end residential property in central London. The structure of the metal framework allows natural light to pass through and fill the room by day. By night, tunable integrated-colour LEDs work to transform the piece, creating a decorative architectural ceiling light. Mixing clean lines with an abundant and decadent feel, our design choices meld tradition and modernity to create an elegant and timeless centrepiece. The Laylight is crafted from a single, enormous sheet of aluminium that was continuously milled for ten days before receiving its final, painted finish. This ensures the piece is a secure and lasting structure and gives an exceptionally high-quality finish.

In Hoad & More’s work for the Ritz Carlton Oman’s luxurious restaurant area, we used infinity style mirrors to give the illusion of height. Set directly into the ceiling, the 1m x 1m square panels seamlessly become part of the space’s striking architecture, creating a feature that adds to the airy spacious feel of the interior. The open, effortless feel perfectly compliments the high-end aesthetic of the Ritz Carlton.
Canopy is Hilton hotel’s luxury boutique branded hotel in East London. Hoad & More created this striking installation to match the building’s ornate exterior. The bronze dish lighting in the lift lobby is complemented by the continuation of the lighting in the guest room corridors.
