Minster Court

This upscale office property houses the offices of Ivanhoé Cambridge, a global real estate industry leader. Hoad & More were approached by lighting contractors Pritchard Themis and architects Buckley Gray Yeoman to produce lighting elements to elevate and enhance this space for the company’s employees and visitors. Working collaboratively with architects and interior designers, we produced a design that reflects the ribbed finish of the surrounding walls by using reeded glass in the pendants, which in turn creates a subtle ribbed lighting effect. This piece is composed of 57 bronze tinted pendants ranging from 300mm to 1,200mm in length, each with reeded glass and Occhio LED lamps, combined to create a bold, geometric feature.

Merano Residences

Merano Residences are luxury apartments overlooking the River Thames, forming part of the prestigious Albert Embankment Plaza development by The Berkeley Group. Goddard Littlefair’s vision was to incorporate a lighting feature that complemented the spectacular art installation located in the elegant double-height lobby of the Merano Residences. Our response was to create a bespoke lighting feature consisting of 80 bronze finished pendants descending 0.6m to 2.5m from the ceiling.

Residence Inn Ghent – Public Areas

Inspired by American abstract artist, Alexander Calder, this mobile installation from Hoad & More draws the eye of visitors and guests and enhances the space in Residence Inn Ghent’s open-plan reception area. The piece’s three illuminated globes are suspended in a fashion that allows them to move slowly under their own weight. This dynamic feel, combined with the ambient light from the elegant globes, gives the installation an organic effect and creates a mesmerising feature.
